KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 19.186 billion and the number of lots traded at 18,624. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.046 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.246 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.203 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.580 billion), Silver (PKR 986.292 million), Platinum (PKR 968.599 million), DJ (PKR 516.125 million), Copper (PKR 311.017 million), SP 500 (PKR 166.659 million), Natural Gas (PKR 148.176 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 12.913 million).
In Agricultural Commodities, 4 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.537 million were traded.
