In order to facilitate investment in the country, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has allowed Resident Pakistanis who have declared assets abroad with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to invest in USD Naya Pakistan Certificates.

To do so, they need to open a Foreign Currency Roshan Digital Account by visiting a branch of one of the eight participating banks in Pakistan.

Here is the Process:

Opening an Account

Physically visit participating banks. The account can be opened by visiting a branch of any of the following 8 partner banks in Pakistan: Bank Alfalah, Faysal Bank, Habib Bank, MCB, Meezan, Samba, Standard Chartered, and UBL.

Joint account facility. The account can be opened jointly with another resident Pakistani.

Using the Account

It means another window for the politicians to raise their money with legal theft license as layman (foreigner) has no registration with FBR and declared foreign assets.
