He said the data shows that road accidents claimed more lives than the pandemic and unfortunately those who are responsible to support their families become victim of these accidents leaving their loved ones helpless in the society. He admired the role of highway police for their professionalism, high credibility and their good reputation due to a transparent system and respectful behaviour towards public. He also appreciated the initiative and desire of the department, to impart training to the staff and the work force of the industry, commuting on the RCD highway on daily basis.

It was also discussed that since there is no driving license office at Hub this is a good opportunity for the two organisations work towards establishment of a driving license office at Hub so that the local population can take full advantage of that.

Hub has now converted into an industrial city and is no more a small town hence such facilities at Hub should now be established to which the Sector Commander agreed and also informed the members that the paradigm shift at the Karachi driving license office is also a result of an officer of Motorway Police who was posted there and brought about the change.

Ajmal Khan Khoso, Sector Commander National Highways Motorway Police Uthal, appreciated the cooperation of Chamber to provide the road safety training to the industry and business community of Hub.
