LAHORE: The Punjab assembly on Wednesday unanimously passed a resolution in connection with the Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir (Day of Kashmiri's exploitation).
The session started one hour fifteen minutes late under the chair of speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi. The resolution was presented by law minister Punjab Raja Basharat. The House unanimously passed the resolution on completion of one year of the illegal decision of India's BJP government for reversing the special status of Jammu and Kashmir by revoking Article 370 and 35-A of the Indian Constitution.
The session was attended by chief minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, opposition leader Hamza Shahbaz and large number of MPAs belonging to both opposition and treasury benches. Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz said that government is getting weaker day by day. How can they fight the case of Kashmir? He also said that government failed to highlight the case of Kashmir in the world.
