Eight dead in Colombia copter crash

Eight policemen were killed Saturday in north-eastern Colombia when their helicopter crashed because of an apparent mechanical problem, according to the Colombian military. "Right now, we have seven people who unfortunately died at the crash site, and one who died after being evacuated," said Colonel Rafael Forero, who commands the military brigade in the region.
Among the dead soldiers were the helicopter's four crew members and four members of the police anti-narcotics service.
