Quetta valley and adjoining areas received thunder rain coupled with hails and strong winds on Saturday afternoon. Strong winds from South Eastern direction blew at 16-24 knots. Rains made the weather very pleasant and marry making people rushed to roads and streets despite shutter-down and wheel jam strike in the area.
Local Met office recorded just 2 millimetres of rain which in the city area rain was much more. In just 15 minutes all the drains and low lying areas were flooded and dirty water started flowing on roads creating problems of the pedestrian and vehicular traffic. Maximum temperature recorded here today was 35.5 Celsius and minimum 19 Celsius. Met office has forecast thunder rain at night and during the day tomorrow.
