Teizoon Kisat will take over as Chief Executive Officer of Orix Leasing Pakistan Limited (OLP) from January 1, 2011 subject to approval of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
According to a press release, Kisat is a Chartered Accountant by training with 33 years of experience; eighteen in the profession and the last fifteen in the leasing sector. Kisat has been associated with OLP since last 10 years and is presently holding the position of Deputy Managing Director of OLP. He is currently Chairman of Leasing Association of Pakistan and Director of Pakistan Micro Finance Network.
Humayun Murad, who has been associated with OLP for over 23 years, including 21 years as Chief Executive, will continue as a Director on the Board of OLP and will assume responsibilities as Chief Executive, MENA and CIS from 1st January, 2011. He will be responsible for expanding ORIX Corporation's business in the region and will be overseeing ORIX's overseas companies in the region including ORIX Leasing Pakistan Limited, ORIX Oman Leasing Company, ORIX Leasing Egypt SAE, Saudi ORIX Leasing Company, MAF ORIX Finance PJSC, S K Leasing JSC and ORIX Properties Pakistan Private Ltd. Under Murad's management OLP grew to become the biggest leasing company in the country with operations in 30 cities. -PR
