Nike remains one of the top brands in the world and its products much sought after, now you can get them directly from the internet’s biggest shopping platform Amazon.

Nike’s products are already available on Amazon via third party vendor, but now customers will be able to purchase the famous brand without involving the third party, as both giants are about to start a direct partnership.

Nike CEO Mark Parker has confirmed to CNN, that both Nike and Amazon are testing out a partnership.

With a direct partnership, Nike will be able to "elevate the way the brand is presented" by gaining more control over how its products are marketed on the site, Parker said.

"We're in the early stages but we really look forward to evaluating the results of the pilot," he added.

He said the shop will include a "limited" assortment of Nike products-- at least at first.

It is pertinent to mention here that, Nike has had a rough few months. The company said on June 15 that it's laying off more than 1,000 workers, and the company's revenues -- and stock price -- have suffered.
