The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the deadly Marriott Hotel suicide truck blast, succeeded in finding the clue regarding the mastermind of September 20 blast, which claimed more than 80 lives. After investigation of detained accused in the Hotel blast, the law enforcement agencies got the information that Abrar belongs to Hayatabad, Peshawar, well placed sources told Business Recorder on Wednesday.
They said that JIT was investigating four accused arrested in connection with Marriott Hotel blast including Dr Usman, Rana Ilyas, Hameed Afzal and Tehseenullah Jan and in view of the information collected from these accused that Abrar was the mastermind of the September 20 truck suicide bombing in Islamabad and the truck used in blast was brought from Jhang.
Abrar was present in Islamabad at the time of suicide bombing and now he is hiding in tribal areas, they said, adding that three teams were constituted to arrest him. These teams have raided different places in Peshawar but failed in nabbing him so far.
