Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Saturday released 72,489 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to IRSA, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs was recorded at 55,488 cusecs. The water level at Tarbela Dam recorded on Thursday was at 1473.04 feet.
The present water level at the dam was 104.04 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet. The water inflow at the dam was recorded at 27,800 cusecs while outflow was 30,000 cusecs. The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1167.60 feet, which was 127.6 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. The water inflow at the dam was recorded at 10,199 cusecs and the outflow at 25,000. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 6,790 cusecs and 10,699 cusecs, respectively.
