KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Tuesday having 51453.16 points with a negative change of 685.74 and volume of 86,442,770 shares.

High and Low were 52476.18 and 51278.93 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 234,587,400shares with 379 total traded companies out of which 81 were up 289 were down and 9 were unchanged.

CEMENT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 35,936,000 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 29,026,000 shares.

The three top traded companies were Ist.Capital Sec. with a volume of 7,484,000 and price per share of 5.30 (0.44), Dewan Motors. with a volume 7,324,000 of price per share of 45.88 (1.48).

The top three advancers were Pak Tobacco with price per share 1590.00 (40.00), Mari Petroleum with price per share of 1732.51 (18.40) and Jubile Life Ins share of 735.00 (15.00).

The top three decliners were Rafhan MaizeXD with price per share of 7315.00 (85.67), Indus Motor Co. with price per share of 1943.79 (42.31) and Unilever Foods share of 6110.00 (40.00).
