RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Tuesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 51950.38 with a positive change of 576.87 and volume of 49,662,050 shares.

High and Low were 52110.87 and 51373.51 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 155,596,310 shares with 374 total traded companies out of which 238 were up, 121 were down and 15 were unchanged.

CHEMICAL was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 21,511,050 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 18,081,600 shares.

The three top traded companies were Lotte Chemical with a volume of 17,642,000 and price per share of 12.37 (0.69), Chakwal Spinning with a volume 7,560,500 of price per share of 7.06 (0.81), Oil & Gas Dev. with a volume 4,886,300 of price per share of 180.60 (7.05).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share 2539.05 (120.90), Exide (PAK) with price per share of 1049.95 (49.99) and Indus Dyeing share of 610.00 (27.84).

The top three decliners were Sapphire FiberXD with price per share of 1187.50 (62.50), Sanofi-AventisXD with price per share of 2100.00 (30.20) and Jubile Life Ins per share of 700.10 (9.90).
