A delegation of Defence Society Residents' Association (DSRA), led by Association's President, Cdre PN Sadeed Ahmed Malik (Retd) visited DHA's main office here on Friday. DHA directors and CBC officials were also present on the occasion, said a press release.
The delegation exchanged views with the DHA officials about the pace of work in DHA for improvement, repair and renovation of the area. They were informed that CBC was spending over Rs 360 million during the current fiscal year for repair and widening of damaged roads, revamping of sewerage facilities and construction of drains. Apart from this a large amount was being spent by DHA for development works, including infrastructure development of the area.
The Administrator informed the delegation that DHA was making concerted efforts to bring about an improvement in garbage lifting and cleanliness of the area. He urged residents' societies to play their due role in creating awareness amongst the residents.-PR
