Gas pipelines in Pir Koh and Pattar Nullah was blown on Saturday. According to reports, unknown persons planted explosive devices with 16-inch dia gas pipelines in Pattar Nullah and Pir Koh on Saturday. Due to serious damage to pipelines, supply to gas field and plant was suspended. Security forces also defused two mines planted with gas line in Pir Koh.
Moreover, electricity supply to Kohlu was suspended following unknown persons blew up 33KV Barkhan-Kohlu transmission line in Barkhan on Saturday. According to reports, unknown persons blew up two towers of 33 KV Barkhan-Kohlu transmission line near Babbar tak on Saturday. Due to collapse of towers, electricity supply to Kohlu and Maiwand was suspended. Qesco initiated preliminaries for installation of damaged towers. Administration was probing the matter.
