Closure of Dhodak oilfield plant will cause acute shortage of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the country, which will eventually give rise to its price. Sources told Business Recorder the OGDC plant will be closed down due to annual repair/maintenance work on Monday night and the shutdown will cause 190MT gas shortage per day.
The country will be facing the shortage for at least two weeks till the plant remain closed.
