A delegation of a multinational petroleum organisation, OMV Corporation, led by Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the corporation, called on President General Pervez Musharraf here, on Thursday. The President welcoming the delegation appreciated their move for investing in Pakistan. He informed them about different economic measures and policies of the government, which have resulted in an investment-friendly environment in the country.
Wolfgang Ruttenstorfer thanked the President for the opportunity to call in him. He lauded the far-reaching economic reforms introduced by the Pakistan government, which have not only helped stabilise the economy, but also served as a tremendous incentive to attract valuable foreign investment.
Minister for Petroleum & Natural Resources, Amanullah Khan Jadoon, Minister for Privatisation, Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh and senior government functionaries were also present during the call.
