ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in Senate Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan Tuesday demanded that the upcoming election in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) should be held under the supervision of Pakistan Army.
Talking to reporters, he said Pakistan Peoples Party would win AJK election as shown by the current trend of voters.
He said Pakistan Peoples Party would attend All Parties Conference (APC) being convened by joint opposition on July 19 (Tuesday).
Regarding Panama Leaks, he said the opposition was playing the role of facilitator in this regard. A draft bill has been prepared to legalize Terms of References (ToRs). The bill would soon be presented to Chairman PPP.
Joint opposition would also be taken into confidence regarding the ToRs and there was no danger to democracy, he said.
