Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri has reiterated that the people of Kashmir would be included in the dialogue process on Kashmir issue at all stages.
"We would negotiate with India along with the Kashmiri leaders according to the people's aspirations," said the minister while talking to the delegation led by chairman of All Parties International Kashmir Rabita Committee and president of Muslim Conference Britain, Mahmood Riaz, who called on him on Saturday.
He said that composite dialogue with India and Kashmir issue are top priorities of the present government and Kashmiri leadership would be taken into confidence during dialogue between Pakistan and India. Other members of the delegation were Vice President of Muslim Conference, Latif Khan, Vice Chairman of youth wing of Britain Tarique Sharif and Abdul Wajid bin Arif.
The Foreign Minister said that the resolutions of UN are the only legitimate and constitutional grounds of Kashmir issue. He said the process of negotiation and dialogue must continue in all circumstances.
However, he said that the Kashmiris are the real party of the issue and cannot be kept away while negotiating on the issue.
He said that Wana operation succeeded because of the government's best strategy. He emphasised that terrorism would not be tolerated at any cost and those responsible for creating law and order situation in the country would be dealt with iron hands.
He said that the people living abroad have been playing a vital role in the economic prosperity and development of the country and have always extended helping hand in time of crisis.
The minister said that Muslim community living abroad must forge unity in the ranks and promote brotherhood. He also accepted the invitation offered by Riaz requesting the minister to visit Britain.
During his talk, Riaz said that it is necessary that the Kashmiris are kept informed about the dialogues between India and Pakistan on Kashmir issue.
"Kashmir are in favour of bus service between occupied Srinagar and Muzaffarabad but would never accept the restriction of visa and passport.
He also lauded the appointment of Maleha Lodhi as Pakistan's High Commissioner in Britain as it would help in further strengthening relations between the two countries.
