Majlis held at Steel Town

Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his associates laid down their lives for the glory of Islam at Karbala, which has great significance in Islamic history.
This was stated by Chairman, Pakistan Steel, Lieutenant General Abdul Qayyum (Retd), while addressing Majlis, as a token of solidarity, to a large number of participants of held at Steel Town/ Gulshan-e-Hadeed Imam Bargah in connection with Muharram-ul-Harram, the other day.
Speaking at length about the philosophy of Shahadat-e-Hussain, the chairman said that the martyrdom teaches us the qualities of tolerance, sacrifice and righteousness in our every day life.
He said that the need of the hour was to stand steadfast in the face of the forces of evil and let no harm come to our great religion of Islam.
He hoped that the employees of Pakistan Steel would continue to put efforts collectively with the spirit of solidarity and sacrifice at every level so as to bring prosperity to this national corporation.
