The MNAs of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, have strongly slammed attack and ransacking of Karachi Press Club by some miscreants.
In a press statement issued here by MMA on Monday, MNAs Mohammad Hussain Mehanti, Abdul Sattar Afghani, Mohammad Laiq Khan and MPAs of MMA stated that it is democratic right of every citizen to raise voice on his/her just demands and peacefully protest on any issue, but attacking press club and damaging its property and manhandling its staff is quite condemn-able.
They termed this act as conspiracy to sabotage the peaceful atmosphere of the city.
The MNAs of MMA demanded of Sindh Chief Minister to take action against the miscreants who attacked the press club.
MQM CONDEMNS: The co-ordination committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned the attack on the Karachi Press Club and damage to its property by some miscreants.
A press statement from MQM's Co-ordination Committee on Monday stated that it is democratic right of every citizen to raise voice on his/her just demands and peacefully protest on any issue, but attacking press club and damaging its property and hurting its staff is in no form a peaceful and democratic act.
The co-ordination committee demanded of Sindh Chief Minister to take action against the miscreants who attacked the press club.
