A joint meeting of the three stock exchanges of the country will be held at a local hotel here on Saturday, February 28 to discuss the issue of proposed merger of the stock exchanges.
The meeting is being held on the invitation of Chairman Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE), Syed Asim Zafar.
Five members and five directors each form Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad Stock Exchanges will participate. The chairmen of the stock exchanges will lead their respective sides.
A threadbare discussion will be held on the issue with focus on ways and means as well as procedural issues pertaining to the proposed merger of the three stock exchanges.
