Atari Industrial Estate Association (AIEA) has asked the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) leadership to resolve the taxation issues being faced by the 450 industries in the estate.
President of AIEA Adnan Butt and Nazim Nishter Town, Major Rafique Hasrat (Retd) raised this demand in a meeting with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mian Anjum Nisar on Friday.
They explained that some 450 industries were operating in the Atari estate and its only approach road is still single lane, which is creating lots of transportation and logistics problems for the industrialists.
They sought LCCI's help in presenting the industrialists problems at proper government forum and resolve them on priority basis.
They also demanded one-window operation to reduce the hassle and botheration being faced by the industrialists of the estate.
LCCI President Mian Anjum Nisar assured them that he would put their taxation demands to Finance Ministry. He also assured the association of his full co-operation in resolving the transportation and logistics problems of the industrialists of the area.
