The government is committed to root out the menace of terrorism from the society, said Federal Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Sardar Mohammad Sanaullah Khan Masti Khail.
Speaking in a PTV programme 'News Night' the Parliamentary Secretary termed the recent terrorist acts in Karachi, in which 13 people were injured and several vehicles damaged, as reaction to Pakistan's active role in the fight for global war against terrorism.
He said, some elements were involved in such terrorist acts to destabilise and defame the country's image at international level.
Vowing to expose such elements soon, he said they were enemies of Islam and Pakistan.
He said that security agencies were being equipped with latest equipment to meet the demands of the present day challenges.
