imageWest Indian cricket team has rejected Pakistan Cricket Board offer to play ODI matches in Pakistan due to security concerns.

West Indies, in a response to PCB’s request, said that their team will not be able to play matches in Pakistan amid such vulnerable security situation, media reported.

Earlier, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) intends to formally invite West Indies to play matches in Pakistan from the series already scheduled between September and October in the UAE.

But after the refusal, all matches would now be played according to the schedule in the UAE. However, unfortunately, the country was failed to attract any other nation to play in Lahore or Karachi despite assurance of extraordinary security measurements.

Both teams were scheduled to face each other in two Tests, five one-days and two T20I matches between September and October in the UAE.
