platinumLONDON: Platinum prices hit a three-year high at $1,895 an ounce on Monday, lifted by strength in gold as concerns over the outlook for the global economy boosted interest in precious metals as a haven from risk.

Spot platinum was up 0.7 percent at $1,883.49 an ounce at 0754 GMT.
