LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif Sunday held the six-hour long meeting through video link to review progress on Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Roads Programme at Civil Secretariat and nine divisional Commissioners offices of the province in modern conferencing room at Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Arfa Karim Software Technology Park.
The Chief Minister directed elected representatives, administration and contractors to move forward for quality, transparent and speedy completion of this public welfare project and work hard with honesty.
The Chief Minister emphasized upon assembly Members and the administration to regularly monitor this programme.
Members Assembly paid tribute to Chief Minister on launching of Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Roads Programme and congratulated him.
They said that the Chief Minister had won the hearts of rural populous by starting repair and rehabilitation work of rural roads and people were praying for him.
This was first meeting of Chief Minister through video link in modern conferencing room set up at PITB.
