ABBOTTABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday formed a committee for the selection of suitable candidates for forthcoming local government elections in Abbottabad.
According to the details, committee comprising KPK information minister Mushataq Ahmed Ghani, Ali Ashgar Khan and Sardar Sher Bahadur from PTI and Abdul Razzaq Abbassi, Saeed Abbassi and Mahboob Elahi from JI to decide the contestants in district Abbottabad.
The committee will also make a joint strategy for the selection of candidates those have roots in the masses for the success in LG elections.
