A large number of people could be seen enoying various kinds of soups at stalls to keep their bodies warm in chilly winter season.

Chicken soup, chicken corn soup, vegetable soup and fish soup are in high demand in federal capital, said the vendors associated with this business.

Chicken corn soup is most favorite drink of the people. The soup is prepared from simple ingredients of chicken, corn flour and eggs.

The shop owners claimed that they use home raised"Desi" chicken and not the `Shaver' or `Broiler' chicken grown at the farms through modern scientific methods. Thus their soup becomes a rare specialty and enjoyed by many.

The owner of a shop at Melody Market told APP on Wednesday that his business is in full swing, adding that he is selling more than 1,000 cups of soup per day. The ratio of eggs and chicken pieces is also similar in this case, he added.
