KARACHI: Governor Sindh, Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan distributed cheques of monetary assistance here to widows, parents of children affected by deadly disease and financially distressed persons.
Speaking on the occasion, on Friday the Governor said the government was fully assisting the deserving segment of society despite limited resources and efforts were underway for provision of permanent financial aid and livelihood sources to them.
Financially constrained talented people could not utilize their potential and they were under mental stress due to hardships, he said adding measures to ameliorate their sufferings were being adopted at provincial level.
Deserving people, on the occasion, informed the Governor of problems being faced by them.
