ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah Thursday named four parliamentarians to represent Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in parliamentary committee on electoral reforms.
The name forwarded to Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq included Senator Aitazaz Ahsan, Senator Mian Raza Rabbani, MNA Syed Naveed Qamar and Shazia Murree, said a press release issued here.
The committee make recommendations for electoral reforms, in order to ensure free, fair and transparent elections using scientific method including constitutional amendments, if required for this purpose.
The committee would present its report to the parliament within three months from the date of the notification of the committee.
