According to the Times of India Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will be sharing screen space with Abhishek Bachchan in Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming comedy ‘Housefull 3’.
The two stars will be seen together for the second time, after last appearing in 2002’s ‘Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya’, which also featured Karishma Kapoor.
The Times of India quoted a source as saying, “The ‘Housefull’ franchise is a promising one in the masala entertainment space. ‘Housefull 2’ is in the 100-crore club. Sajid plans to keep it going till the time he is able to rope in exciting actor combinations. Also as long as he is able to find entertaining scripts.”
The third instalment of the ‘Housefull’ franchise will be directed by writer duo Sajid-Farhad. The two, who have penned together super-hit films like ‘Ready’, ‘Bol Bachchan’ and ‘Golmaal’, are already working on their directorial debut, titled, ‘It’s Entertainment’, which is slated to release in August, 2014.
