ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal on Saturday said a new five year plan is being framed for the development of the country.
Talking to media persons in Islamabad‚ he said the 2013-2018 five-year plan will be unveiled in December this year. He said this plan will set out the development priorities of the government‚ with the first being addressing the energy crisis.
The minister regretted the governments in the past fourteen years had no roadmap for development.
Responding to a question‚ Ahsan Iqbal said the government was recruiting chief executives in all departments in a transparent manner.
