ISLAMABAD: Program Manager of Extended Program on Immunization [EPI] Sindh Saifullah has said that they have a comprehensive program with respect to Polio vaccination.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that they are campaigning door to door and lady health workers are also effectively working in this regard. He said that they are concentrating on the children who have been left during the vaccination campaign.
While discussing the role of Ulema in this regard he said that they have sought support of the religious leaders and scholars of the locality. On the role of WHO he said that WHO is providing vaccination.
He said that they are working on the suggestion that when a child joins school he should have been administered polio vaccine before joining the school and should have a record card in this respect.
