gilani 400LAHORE: Former prime minister and Senior Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Wednesday that he would contest election if his disqualification was reviewed.

Talking to the media after meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari here at Bilawal House, he said that his stance over the Swiss letter had proved true after the response by Swiss authorities.

He said that some elements were trying to score points on the issue of two provinces in Punjab, adding the PML-N had made commitment on two provinces after five years. After the creation of two provinces, the next demand of PML-N could be Hazara province, he added.

He said those provinces should be constituted first on which all parties have unanimity, adding how could 48 seats be allocated for each province if two provinces were made in south Punjab.

Replying to a question, Gilani said let the nation see whether the Metro Bus project got succeeded or not.
