ISLAMABAD: The 26th death anniversary of master calligrapher Sadequain, responsible for the renaissance of Islamic Cal

Sadequain ISLAMABAD: The 26th death anniversary of master calligrapher Sadequain, responsible for the renaissance of Islamic Calligraphy in country, was observed on Sunday.

Sadequain was born in 1930 in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, India, Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi at the age of 31, won recognition for his work at the 1961 Paris Biennale.

He had a prolific career and much of his work is displayed in public places.
