Govt taking steps to provide basic facilities to people: Minister

KARACHI: The present democratic government is making endeavours to provide basic facilities to the people at their doorsteps.

This was stated by Sindh Minister for Revenue, Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar here on Thursday.

The Minister said that with the developmental works the people would benefit.

Mehtab said that schemes such as provision of gas, roads and sports facilities are being executed.

He pointed out that work was going on for the construction of new roads in Taluka Obaro at the cost of Rs 45 million.

The work regarding the supply of gas in the area was also going ahead.

Besides other villages, the gas was being provided to Village Sultan Khan Gangal and village Daim Khan Gangal at a cost of Rs 10 million, the Minister added.

He also pointed out that sports and entertainment facilities were also being provided to the people.
