International flight operations resume across Pakistan
- The authority informed that the permission for international flight operations shall be subject to applicable restrictions and limitations as decided by the competent authority from time to time in light of the current COVID-19 scenario.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) had resumed international flights across the country, from today (Saturday) onwards.
“Government of Pakistan has been pleased to authorize international flight operations to/from all international airports of Pakistan with effect from June 20, 2020, 0001 PST except Gwadar and Turbat Airports,” read a CAA notification.
The authority informed that the permission for international flight operations shall be subject to applicable restrictions and limitations as decided by the competent authority from time to time in light of the current COVID-19 scenario and implementation of health protocols.
Additionally, cargo, special and diplomatic flights shall also be permitted, it added.
CAA further said that adherence to the relevant applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) shall be mandatory for all Airline Operators.
