The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan jumped to 144,478 on Monday after the provinces reported several new infections.
The country's death toll has reached 2,729. Meanwhile, 53,721 patients have also recovered from the novel virus.
Punjab has recorded the highest number of cases 54,138, Sindh 53,805, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) 18,013, Balochistan 8,177. Similarly, Islamabad has recorded 8,569, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) 1,129 and Azad Kashmir 647.
With 1,031 deaths, Punjab has recorded the highest number, Sindh 831, KP 675 and Balochistan 85. Islamabad has reported 78, GB 16 and Azad Kashmir has lost 13 people due to coronavirus.
