The Lahore High Court (LHC) dismissed on Tuesday the bail petitions of Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Saad Rafique and Salman Rafique in the Paragon Housing Society case.

A two-member bench headed by Judge Baqir Najafi announced the verdict. In their petitions, the Rafique brothers had argues that they did not have any link with Paragon City. They further said that all allegations levelled against them were baseless as the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) did not have any proof against them.

The two brothers have been in NAB's custody since December 18. The bureau has accused the two brothers of conniving with Nadeem Zia and others had launched an illegal housing scheme Paragon City in 2005 on the basis of forged and fabricated documents.
