The provisional revenue collection of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) amounted to Rs 3,832 billion during (July-June) 2018-19 against downward revised target of Rs 4,150 billion, reflecting a shortfall of Rs 318 billion. In June 2019, the FBR has collected Rs 221.075 billion under the heads of Income Tax, Rs 154.057 billion as Sales Tax, Rs 34.588 billion as Federal Excise Duty and Rs 62.274 as Customs Duty.
According to the details of revenue collection pertaining to month on month basis in comparison with the preceding year 2017-18, the monthly collection data of the FBR revealed that the revenue collection was Rs 222.062 billion in July 2018 against Rs 211.419 billion in the same month of fiscal year 2017-18. In August 2018, the FBR collection stood at Rs 248.755 billion against Rs 238.967 billion in August 2017-18. The revenue collection in September 2018 was Rs 323.690 billion against Rs 316.493 billion in same month of the 2017-18.
The FBR''s collection was Rs 276.174 billion in October 2018-19 against Rs 266.797 billion in the same month of 2017-18.
The revenue collection stood at Rs 280.717 billion in November 2018-19 against Rs 272.134 billion in the same month of the last fiscal year. The FBR''s collection was Rs 406.998 in December 2018-19 against Rs 417.072 billion in the same month of the last financial year 2017-18.
The FBR collection stood at Rs 271.794 billion in January 2018-19 against Rs 273.395 billion in the same month of the financial year 2017-18.
The revenue collection stood at Rs 271.735 billion in February 2018-19 against collection of Rs 263.849 billion in the same month of 2017-18.
The revenue collection in March 2018-19 was Rs 358.597 billion against collection of Rs 364.961 billion in the same month of 2017-18.
The FBR collected Rs 289.732 billion in April 2018-19 against collection of Rs 294.734 billion in the same month of financial year 2017-18. In May 2018-19, the FBR''s collection was Rs 328.137 billion against Rs 351.617 billion in the same month of 2017-18. The FBR collected Rs 476.955 billion in June 2018-19 against Rs 484.412 billion in the same month of 2017-18.
