Lean business on grain market

Small trading activity was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday ahead of Ashura holidays, dealer said. On the cereals side, Masoor Canada low type gained Rs 400 to Rs 9400 and the best type picked up Rs 300 to Rs 9500, Masoor Dall Canada low variety rose by Rs 1100 to Rs 11100 due to rising demand by consumers, they said.
On the seed side, cotton seeds oilcake with bag Sindh new gained Rs 50 to Rs 1950 and Rs 2050 on strong demand. Prices were unchanged on the rice and grams sectors, they said.
