PM visits KSEW stall at Gwadar Expo

GWADAR: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday visited a stall of Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works (KSEW) at Gwadar Expo- 2018, Gwadar Free Zone and Gwadar Port.

Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Interior Minister Professor Ahsan Iqbal and Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat also accompanied the Prime Minister, said statement issued by KSEW.

Project Officer Pakistan Navy Fleet Tanker Commodore Salman Ilyas informed the Premier about the progress of the on-going shipbuilding projects at KSEW.

The Prime Minister was also apprised that KSEW being the only shipyard in the country was playing its due role in the development of maritime sector in the country.    In this regard, KSEW, under the directions of Pakistan Navy and Ministry of Defence Production, was pursuing the case for establishment of new shipyard in Gwadar.
