RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Friday having 49708.65 points with positive change of 965.09 and volume of 159,068,810 shares.

High and Low were 49743.43 and 48743.56 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 395,824,520 shares with 398 total traded companies out of which 303 were up 82 were down and 13 were unchanged.

CHEMICAL was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 50,863,700 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 41,878,800 shares.

The three top traded companies were Engro Polymer with a volume of 37,657,000 and price per share of 27.48 (1.30), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 32,435,500 of price per share of 55.47 (2.64), Azgard Nine with a volume 18,124,000 of price per share of 13.13 (1.00).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share 2488.23 (118.48), Sanofi-AventisXD with price per share of 2087.03 (95.03) and Millat Tractors share of 1385.07 (65.91).

The top three decliners were Nestle PakistanXD with price per share of 9200.00 (251.00), Rafhan MaizeXD price per share of 7000.00 (125.00) and Khyber Tobacco share of 870.01 (29.99).
