As elsewhere in the country, the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has also launched "President Rozgar Scheme" in Attock district and its 14 branches working in different areas started receiving applications to dole out small business loans to young educated unemployed youth.
The Bank sources told APP here on Wednesday that the purpose of the scheme was to provide self-employment opportunities to the youth and under the scheme an individual can avail loan facility from Rs 20,000 to Rs 200,000, and this amount would be recovered by the bank in easy instalments with six percent mark up.
