Actor Salman Khan is India’s a goodwill ambassador for Rio Olympics 2016. However, the decision of choosing Salman as ambassador was not been appreciated. However, Salman remain silent on this controversy and now ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor has decided something better for Indian athletes that will once again proves that Salman has a golden heart.
‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ star has extended his warm support to Indian athletes and decided to reward each Indian athlete with a cheque of Rs 1, 01, 000. The superstar made the special announcement on social media website twitter. In his tweet, he also appreciates the efforts of Indian government in supporting sports in the nation and urges the citizens to come forward for the promotion of games in the country.
121 athletes are participating in Rio Olympics and representing India. However, this time Indian athletes are facing a tough time at the Rio Games with just one medal on board until now; the announcement of Salman will surely going to bring a smile on their faces. Earlier Yash Raj Films also announced that they would give Rs 10 lakh cash award to the Indian athletes who win gold for the country at Rio Olympic Games.
Rio Olympics will end on August 21.
