ISLAMABAD: Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad on Tuesday reviewed the arrangements regarding revision of electoral rolls scheduled to be commenced in August 2016 throughout the country.
The decision was taken in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan at the ECP Secretariat.
During the meeting, Secretary issued directions to all relevant wings to ensure completion of all prerequisites including appointment of Verifying Officials, procurement of stationery items, printing of forms and all other administrative arrangements so that the revision exercise is started as per schedule.
In this regard, the Secretary Election Commission will also hold a meeting with the Provincial Election Commissioners on July 15 to review arrangement made by them in respect of their respective provinces.
