War game Sabit Qadam commences

Army war game exercise Sabit Qadam III commenced on Monday with the presentations of opposing plans to the President and the Chief of Army Staff General Pervez Musharraf at the General Headquarters Rawalpindi.
The war game, which will continue for the next one month is being conducted to evaluate the threat and update Pakistan Army response in coordination with PAF and Pakistan Navy in the evolving geo-strategic and security environment in the region.
The President spent the whole day at General Headquarters along with top military brass of the armed forces and also presided the detailed deliberations on the ongoing planning process.
He expressed his satisfaction on the operational preparedness of armed forces to meet any threat posed to the national security.
