LAHORE: Minister for Pakistan Railways (PR) Khawaja Saad Rafique Saturday said that government is establishing new educational institutions and it is the responsibility of parents to equip their children with education.
He stated this while talking to media, after inaugurating new building of Government Girls School at Chung Khurd area.
He said that the role of parents for equipping children with education was vital because this would enable the children to play their due role in the development of the country.
Saad Rafique said that education was the only way through which problems like ignorance, poverty and extremism could be eliminated.
"Pakistan has no objection if Pak-India series takes place", he added.
It is pertinent to mention here that Govt Girls Elementary School was also given High School status.
The minister also laid foundation stone of a block in Boys School at Gohava.
