Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was all praise for Edhi and his foundation for raising and taking care of an Indian girl Geeta.
According to Indian media reports, Salman Khan was thankful to Abdul Sattar Edhi for housing a lost girl for 13 years and he was happy that Geeta was being looked after well in Pakistan. “She must be having her own family and friends there. We should make sure her life out here is a lot better than it was there,” he said.
Salman Khan also added, “We should thank the NGO in Pakistan (Edhi Foundation), which has looked after Geeta all these years for supporting her and giving her a good life. We should respect the fact that they have kept an Indian there for such a long time”.
Indian girl Geeta, 23 is believed to have mistakenly crossed into Pakistani territory as a child. She was 7-8 years old when she was found by the Pakistan Rangers 15 years ago from Lahore railway station.
