ISLAMABAD: The Adviser on Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz held a meeting with Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rasit Meredow on the sidelines of the 42nd OIC Council of Ministers meeting in Kuwait on Friday.
The two Ministers discussed follow up action on the agreements and understandings reached during the Prime Minister's recent visit to Turkmenistan.
They agreed to intensify cooperation in the areas identified, including the laying of rail and road networks and gas pipelines connecting the two countries via Afghanistan with possible participation by other Central Asian countries.
